Homer City 1977 Hahn/Bruco 750/500 John Schmidt Photo
Does anyone know if this piece is still around.. or did it get turned into razer blades and ball point pens?
This one is now sitting behind the Circleville warehouse, badly rusted, and missing a lot of parts. it is not owned by Andy, but is owned by the gentleman who moved his collection from next to the Albertson, NY train station to circleville 2 years ago.
Mike, I was told a fellow from New Jersey bought it and drove it back from Arnold. I believe he paid no more than $2,000. I am upset to hear it is rusting away.

Wagon Master,
The Hahn/Bruco rescue from Homer City was sold to Fortuna's Auto Body in the Blairsville area. When I last saw the rescue a few years back it was sitting outside his auto body. The only thing left was the cab.
Thanks Shoop,
Thats depressing, I would have loved to get some pics of that rig.
Very nice pictures! It looks to me like Air 58 from Scottdale in a 1979 Model. Any more pictures from Scottdale V.F.D.? How about the Ladder Truck? Also, what was the previous unit before the Air Truck that you have posted?

That was my only visit to Scottdale, the member present was unable to drive the 700 series ladder. Thanx for the correction on the GMC.
A few notes; According to Dave Bowen, the 68 Ford C/ John Bean had a Bean HP pump with a 700 gal. tank and was shot by him in Central City, Somerset Co.,PA., and it was not repainted.
State College had a 1978 Mack MB/4-Guys 400/1600 that later went to Powell's Valley VFC in Dauphin Co. Strawpump's "platform" appears to be on a 62 Ford F chassis. Jefferson, PA, in Greene Co. had a 71 IH Loadstar/Saulsbury (look on front bumper and rear compartment) Everett: 1964 Chevy C-60 rescue 1954 IH/Bruco 1958 Ford F-750 750/500 1969 Hahn 750/1000 later New Baltimore,Somerset Co. 1976 IH Fleetstar 1000/1000 later rehab by 4-Guys and sold to Darlington VFC,Ligonier Twp.,PA. DuBois Hose #1 Dave Bowen has this as a 1971 IH C0 8190/Bruco 1000/500 with a 1980's rebody by 4-Guys. It was replaced by a 1999 Seagrave. IMO, the bulldog on the front is just to designate the rig as a Mack "wannabe", it ran with the 77 CF/Thibault ladder most of its life. The Bedford ALF ladder was replaced in 2003 by a used Sutphen and sold to a local owner who does parade it.
great pics keep up the great work
anybody got any more pics
just getting this moved back to the top.
