We wrapped up the trip around 4, since I still had a six hour drive back to Atlanta and had to work the next day.

A few days after the Carolina's trip, I had a free day with sunny skies and decided to hit a few local rigs. Most of these are recent deliveries.

The City of Cartersville will soon open a new Station 4, which will house two companies, Engine and Squad 4, nearly identical rigs, but the Squad has a PTO generator and carries different equipment.

This rig marks a sad moment for me, most likely the last "photograph" I'll ever take. A moment of silence please......

My buddy Dan is down here to visit his daughter for the holiday. Today, we went out and captured a few rigs.

We were after a few new deliveries in Chattanooga and another in Walker County, GA, but none of those rigs were available. We did catch this one at Chattanooga, their first quint with the Rosenbauer ladder. Earlier quints have RK ladders.

Our last productive stop was the small city of East Ridge, located between Chattanooga and Georgia. They operate from two stations and we shot one at each.

This rig was an add-on to an order of five rigs built for Chattanooga.
