I got beat to the station for pictures already, haha. There are a ton of pictures on Flickr under the username "Triborough" as well as a video of the first back-in on youtube under "Philadelphia Fire Department new Engine 37".

This I took the day of a 4 Alarm warehouse fire last year.

The truck has plenty of room in the station, but the narrow doors are the issue.

Engine 37 pulling out. The driver was able to maneuver the rig well and pulled out with little issues.

Engine 66 ran 650 runs last year.

Engine 37 ran just under 800

[sub]What does a "refurb" consist of for PFD? Like in the case with 37, I would assume this is the truck they'll be in for quite some time to come, but everything "cosmetically" pretty much still looks the same:[/sub]

[sub]Chrome bumper instead of replacing it with a Red steel bumper[/sub]

[sub]Vector bar instead of putting an LED bar on like all of the rest of the new trucks[/sub]

[sub]Same pitted out, dirty aluminum wheels that truck has had on it instead of new ones[/sub]

[sub]Halogen turn lights, etc.[/sub]

[sub]The list goes on, as I said this is just what I notice cosmetically, but normally when I think of a refurb it's a heavy one, and makes the truck being rehabbed easily comparable, again cosmetically, to all of the new trucks in the fleet.[/sub]

Well the reason this was refurbed was because it was in an accident and the pumps were smashed. So the pumps are new. I believe the Engine and all of the insides are new as well. The only cosmetic difference is the new coat of paint and LED tail-lights.
