Word is FDNY Ladder 129 (in "Mets" pinstriped paint scheme) was involved in a serious MVC yesterday on Northern Blvd & 150th Street, with several FFs reported pinned. I haven't been able to find any news reports but did find this photo on Twitter -

From the Secret List....

Last evening around 2145 hours, FDNY Ladder 129 was responding first due to a dwelling fire. While responding, they were involved in a violent crash on Northern Blvd with another vehicle (reported to be a garbage truck) in an intersection. Several members were trapped and had to be extricated. Members received a range of yellow and green injuries-from serious injured (fractures) to not so serious.

We have confirmed that the Officer and Chauffeur (driver) of the apparatus were wearing their seat belts and the wearing of those seat belts, by all indications (see photos of the crash on our home page) probably saved their lives-as they were the most seriously injured.

We will post more details later on our home page-there are some photos on the page now.
