Not a 1986 the 86 grille style was flat on the front with the turn signals under the lights. This truck would fall into the 1987-1991

Here is a situation where different folks disagree about the year.  This apparatus was manufactured in 1986.  The chassis is a 1987 "model" from Ford, but it also was manufactured in 1986.  Fire apparatus has traditionally been listed by the year of manufacture, not the "model year" of the chassis.

I wanted a better picture of this one, but there was no way without taking the truck 10 miles (and about a 30 minute drive-time) back to their main station where they actually have room to move it around.  This truck is based in their substation, which for right now, is a garage at a person's house that they rent until they can build a new substation.  This area is so rural that there were literally no parking lots, not even a wide spot in the road that would provide for any better picture than this.
