Was this purchased new by Mechanicsburg or did it start life somewhere else, maybe Pikesville, Maryland?

Thanks Shoop, been more than half a lifetime since I saw PVFC's Ford C-Swab rescue.  They also had a smaller Ford-C Swab air unit in the late 70's.

Pikesville purchased the squad new and sold it to Arundel in 1979 also getting Arundel's 1953 Mack L squad in the deal to use temporarily until the 1981 Peterbilt/Swab heavy rescue was delivered.

Arundel sold Squad 7 to Mechanicsburg in 1987.

I would think Mechanicsburg sold the Ford C/Swab around 1994 when they bought the HME/4-Guys squad.

So, Pikesville had two of these?  Knowing that, I must have a slide of the former Ford/Swab Air unit which was much shorter than this.  It served at the Emlenton FD in Venango County, PA. after Pikesville.

Pat, you mean this one?  I've got it as a 1974 Ford C/Swab.  (And sorry Dave for posting in your thread)

Answering my own question, bad pic from BVFD 100TH Anniv. book (2009).

It appears that Brookville had this after Emlenton.

What year did Emlenton sell it?
