What the story with the blackout on 43 Engine?
Love the black strip and the black box on top. Saw this rig and the road and it looked sweet!
Usually a big fan of black out...including my own suburban...but something isnt right on that one...

43-Engine:
I'm going to go out on a limb and am thinking that the "black out" is to personalize the rig in the likes of the company patch, which has a pirate skull on it. From what I can see in the picture, the front intake and discharge, rims, rooftop box, and deck gun are all painted flat black, and there appears to be a pirate flag on the back as well. I actually like the looks of it, kind of mean looking!
For whatever the reason ... I love it... particularly in a day and age where company pride is taking an ass kicking its nice to see something thats not cookie cutter ... save for the olive branch co. Patch they allow on the rigs... im so very tired of seeing the over the top non sence this dept. Seems to be dealing with as of late.... nice to see something that reminds me of the days i fell in love with idea of THE JOB .... i intentionally try to not capitize i ... i enjoy when our Rhode scholar types point it out ....
Aside from additional grammatical errors.... smart phones seem to be to busy being smart and not allowing us blue collar simple types ... to be simply simple....

And it appears they have 2 deck guns on their engine? Is that right or am I looking at something else?
Marc, are fleet services outfitting the previously-delivered rigs with Go Lights and/or Brow lights as the newest deliveries are getting? Trav!

One fixed and one portable
Exactly. Most companies carry theirs in a compartment. 43 doesn't. Stay safe, Brothers.

Thanks to ALL the Brothers who were there 9/11/01 and afterwards. Words can never say what appreciation we have for you all.
All the new rigs come with the useless go light and brow light. A candle is brighter than that go light
