The last thing at Sta 39 was a treat also. the City Reserve Engine was running as E38. This is only 1 of a few that i know of in this country.

After Annapolis its back into the county, where we went to Sta 8 to find 1 of only 2 Special Units in The County. "The other is at 23", these cars act as 1st responders on medical calls, leaving some guys back to take the bigger stuff is needed.

And the last shot of the day was the Career Engine at West Annapolis. we weregoing to shoot them at the same spot we shot the ET & Twr, but the ET got picked up on a call, so we shot The Career Engine at the house. Looks good too, just came back from some accident damage with the chevrons on the front bumper also. looks good. maybe they'll do the other career units like this. hope you enjoyed the photos.

Leitersburg will be the only one in the county to sport the red over black scheme. This will be replacing a 1991 HME/Grumman/03 Pierce Rehab 1500 GPM/750GWT/50 Foam engine that is currently for sale.
John Fauble

I am interested in all of the equipment and apparatus used in fire fighting and ems service.

Nice catch on the Leitersburg rig,Bus!

I wonder if they will repaint anything older, would have kept the Grumman instead of the Freightliner engine,IMO.

Nice new rig for Leitersburg.

We will be selling the current RE91. Its in great mechanical condition and the 2stage pump has been completely rebuilt 8 months ago. The Freightliner is in mint condition and we have no plans on selling that one anytime soon. And yes we are planning on repainting the other units to match the new Pierce. If anyone is interested in buying the Grumman we are asking $45k. Contact the station if interested 301-733-9155.

Don't want to buy it but would like to come photograph it and the rest of the rigs before they get repainted.

How do the Lake Shore folks feel about the Furion chassis?  I've seen them on ambulances and smaller rigs and have been curious as to their performance, comfort, etc.  Great pics, as always!
