I believe this was the pumper photographed while on fire and still pumping during the Great VCU Fire in 2004. The Virginia Fire News Magazine report stated that Engine Co. 5 was using Engine 6 that day.

E17 has not been replaced...They are currently running their 1998 Pierce 75' Quint as the main rig for now.A few changes are coming in the next several months for Richmond.
