This was taken during the ongoing battle to extinguish the big 5-11+2 we recently had in Chicago...this is from Day #4 during demolition.
I was wondering if the deformation of the fire door and rollup door one floor below would be the result of heat from the fire as it spread on each floor or something else?

I'm pretty sure they got hot enough to make the metal soften a bit.

I found it interesting that the same deformation is on both the sliding fire door and the rollup door one floor below. That's why I wondered if it was heat rushing against it if both floors flashed over...or just warping from long-term heat exposure and gravity formed that bowed appearance.
