Nicely done video, sad to see what has become of so many once very proud department's in this country.

 

Living in Metro Detroit I have seen all too many departments get cut to the point of almost extinction.  Know plenty of guy's on Detroit, Hamtramack and Inkster that do way more than should be expected with what they have to work with.  Hell have even fought with my own cities politicians over trying to cut FF's 4-5 years even after we passed a mileage with the promise that if it passed the FD & PD would not be touched for four years, it didn't last 6 months before tried to cut again.  Problem is almost none of my neighbors knew anything about what the FF's do or why they need what they have before I talked to them.
