3-21-13 Multi-Alarm Condo Fire, Peekskill NY

On Thursday there was a multi-alarm Condo fire in Peekskill NY all 16 units in this condo unit were destroyed. Firefighters battled numerous problems including poor hydrant pressure, a broken water main, and narrow roadways.  Firefighter were on scene for about 12 hours.

An excavator was called in to pull the walls down

The excavator driver got a little to daring and his machine ended up  in the basement.  The driver self extricated himself by kicking out the windshield.
