Historian Southeastern PA Region Quote:The B model Mack Harwick rescue truck is a 1958. It is currently being restored to it original condition at Lee"s in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersy and should be back in Wyndmoor soon. Besides Wyndmoor and Mount Carbon, this truck also served for a short while in Columbia boro (Pa.) as their water rescue unit. Does anyone have any information or pictures of it then? If so please post them.Hopefully, this piece will be seen making the Delaware valley muster scene soon. All, This is what I have on this rig. Historian Southeastern PA Region Quote:Dave - I have it originally from Cleveland - you can confirm it was Fairfield ?Someone sent me the HS number, HS-769, several years ago. That unit was delivered new to Fairfield, OH. Cleveland, OH never had any Sutphen apparatus built on the GMC H-Series chassis. As far as I know, it is currently collector owned. BTW, it is not a steel aerial, Sutphen Aerials are aluminum, always have been.
