F.D.N.Y.
Are the lights on top of cabs LED or are they halogen rotators ?
Reply
LED's in the center bar and LED's and rotators on the outside bars. The rotators at the very outside of the bar.

Are the rotators to attract more attention off the reflection of buildings ? The reason I ask is I would think it would get costly to rep,ace bulbs in a fleet that big. Thanks

Marc,

My apologies, the "newer" Seagraves and Ferraras that came before they began installing the Go and Brow lights...

All the new Ferrara ladders have had them.

They have not retrofitted any go lights that I have seen onto existing rigs.

All the new rigs have em they are worthless and have no place being on a fire truck.

Different strokes for different folks...but we use our's several times each shift for locating house numbers and apartment numbers.

Our new trucks have the HID go light.
