Today was another beautiful day in Georgia. I took the Challenger for another ride, windows down, sunroof open, stereo cranked up.....

Today began as another one like Friday was, but it didn't last. I started in Forsyth County and had to chase this one down at Station 1.

These guys were also not home when I got to their station, which was being filled by Quint 19. I was told that they were at the Training Center at the opposite end of the county, so I went. I had to wait about 30 minutes for them to finish their session and the clouds kept getting thicker. After this one, I headed home. This rig uses a "harvested" aerial from HS-3080, a 1996 TS-100 quint that ran as DeKalb County Ladder 23.

On Tuesday, April 2nd, I drove down to Florida to meet up with several other apparatus photographers for several days of shooting. On the way down, I made a couple stops.

After arriving at the home of our host, Ron Arnow, we went to pick up another participant at the Orlando airport. We made another stop along the way.

Wednesday was the official start of the 2013 Winter Thaw. The weather was okay when we started out, but became overcast as we went north. Our first stop was Live Oak, which I had previously shot in the sun. From there, we hit several Suwannee County stations.

We hit two more Suwannee County stations, but no one was home at either one. It rained on us several times in between, so we headed east to the City of Jasper, but it was pouring when we got there. We gave up and went back to Ron's house.
