Midnight House Fire - Portland 4-24-13

At 00:35 Eng. 7 was dispatched to a brush fire. Another caller reported a house fire at 13209 Ankeny Ct. A box was transmitted at 00:36. Additional companies were; E30, 2, 19, Truck 7, C3 & C4. When Eng. 7 arrived they reported a house and garage fully involved at 134th and E. Burnside, about one block from the original call.

As Eng. 7 was in the house keeping the fire from extending inside, there was an explosion in the garage. Fire blew through the wall where they were working, slightly burning one or two of the firefighters.
