Question: Is E202 set back b/c of another unit (chiefs car) being normally parked there?

If so how often does the engine go on a call were the chief doesnt and the chiefs truck has to be moved?

The 32 Battalion also runs out of here....unsure as to how often it has to be moved.

Yes and also because L-101 needs room to manuever in and out of the firehouse. Most firehouses with one apparatus door have floor space for 2 rigs side by side but the apparatus door won't fit 2 rigs going out side by side. If the engine is behind the chief's car the battalion aide will run down and move it if the engine gets a run, same thing if the engine is in front if the chief gets a run.

According to the FDNY Operational Reference, there are no HAZ MAT Technician units (the stepvan units) in the Bronx except for Squad 41 and 61.

Engine 44 from what I know from some of the guy's in the company they are all trained to be a Squad with the title of Squad. Back when the Mayor was closing house Squad/Engine 252 was on the block to be cut. So 44 was trained to do squad stuff. I think they should have the title of squad, as if they need to have someone cover for them if they have a company thing only members from other squad companies can cover them.
