Now considered a "antique" and still in service is this 1986 Ford F350/American Eagle mini pumper Engine 55, from Benedict in Charles County. Damn I'm getting old.

Replacing it is Engine 54

Dan,

Unfortunately, the new rescue is still in Wisconsin. Next year she will be there!

Thanks for sharing. Folks in MD always have some nice rides. I am assuming Pierce is now the biggest seller in the area? Just asking as some of the older units were Seagraves but newer was Pierce.

Pierce has been a big seller in Southern Maryland for over 20 years.  The brand that is really making inroads down here is Rosenbauer.  Waldorf and Nanjemoy both have two Rosies in service, Cobb Island has one on order and Solomons has 3 on order!

After 2 weeks, I finally had a chance to edit the 2015 SMVFA Parade photos that I took in Newburg in Charles County. It was a great day for a parade and photo shooting.

Here's Benedict waiting for the parade to get going!
