In the afternoon Littleton Firefighters were dispatched to multiple reports of a house fire at 5868 South Rapp Street. While units were responding there was also a report of two people trapped and a black column of smoke was widely visible. First due (3 person) Engine 11 laid in 5" supply line from Church & Rapp and found a small house well involved exposing the Bravo exposure. The Captain deployed an 1.75" with CAFS for exposure protection on the bravo side. Next arriving Squirt 12 set up for exposure protection on the Delta Side and Engine 13 pulled a 2.5" line. An additional 1.75" was pulled by Medic 13 and the fire was quickly knocked down. Crews pushed inside for a primary search and fire attack and found the building clear. Both occupants safely exited the Charlie side and were in the alley, neither made themselves known until questioned by police. No injuries occurred and investigators from LFR & LPD were on scene.
