Quote:Richmond Quint 13 ex Q5 Has Richmond ordered or do they have plans to order any new rigs in the near future? Thanks in advance.
Trey, thanks for sharing some of your photos and for keeping the Virginia thread relavent. It appears you are the only Virginia photographer shooting anything.
jshippey, you should have a subscription to Fire & EMS Virginia. We have provided complete coverage of the 10 new ambulances and all the fire apparatus delivered in Hampton. We let our readers know the transfers related to the new deliveries being placed in service, complete with the units being moved to reserve and being placed out of service. Quote:Has Richmond ordered or do they have plans to order any new rigs in the near future? Over the last two years, they put into service 4 1500-470-105' Quints, 2 1500-470-75' Quints, 2 Heavy Rescues, two 1500-470-40 Pumpers. There may be new money coming in July 1st for some more apparatus, but as everything else looks, it doesn't look good right now.
