Virginia apparatus - miscellaneous
Quote:Over the last two years, they put into service 4 1500-470-105' Quints, 2 1500-470-75' Quints, two 1500-470-40 Pumpers. There may be new money coming in July 1st for some more apparatus, but as everything else looks, it doesn't look good right now.
New specs and bids are going out soon for 2 maybe 3  engines if not more , things seem to moving forward some now

When built, the rig had a skid unit with a Darley / Rotex Engine pump package..... I wonder how long the Rotex Engine lasted in that package.

Thanks BFD1151. It is great to see someone posting Virginia apparatus. I appreciate your efforts.

While I am on here, anyone seen/photographed any of the new Alexandria engines?

Jerry,

I don't think any of the Alexandria engines have made it in service yet. I've been waiting for my Custom Fire contact to let me know when one does.

Radford also runs an ambulance (which I didn't shoot) and a Freighliner FL112 with gooseneck trailer as a regional Hazmat that I couldn't get pulled out.
