Finally for today is Engine 3665 from the BLM Carson City. It is a 2011 Ford F 550 4x4 with locally built body, 250 gpm/250 water/10 foam

Here are some more photos from my Northwest-trip in 2012.

Engine 51 in Carson City / NV operates this 2007 Pierce Quantum with 1500 gpm/750 water/ 20 foam.

Engine 21 from the Tahoe-Douglas FPD / NV is this 2008 Ferrara Inferno 4x4. 1500 gpm/750/30

Tahoe-Douglas Engine 25 is a 2007 Ferrara Inferno 4x4 with the same specs as Engine 21

Reserve Engine 5 from the Tahoe-Douglas FPD operates this 1995 Seagrave 4x4, 1500 gpm/ 750 gwt

Engine 53 from the North Tahoe FD / CA is this more unusual 1986 Duplex D-450 4x4 with bodywork from Grumman, 1500 gpm/ 1000 gwt.

On our way to the Pacific Coast we did a side-trip to Lincoln/Ca. My intention was, to get a photo from their huge tandem-axle tiller quint. Unfortunately the tiller was not longer in service due to cost-cuttings. So I got three other apparatus at one of their stations.

 

Engine 343 is a 2008 Spartan Gladiator with bodywork from Hi-Tech, 1500 gpm/500 gwt.

Brush 343 in Lincoln is this 2000 International 4800 4x4 with E\-One bodywork. 500 gpm/500 water/ 20 foam.

Finally for Lincoln, Tender 34 is a 2000 International 4900, also with E\-One body, 500 gpm/ 2000 gwt.

I had a bit more luck in the City of Napa, as I got their brandnew aerial. Truck 1 is this 2012 Pierce Velocity PUC with 1500 gpm-pump, 300 gwt and 105' ladder.

Finally, Rescue 1 in Napa is a 2009 Pierce Velocity HDR.

I had to cancel my original plans to visit the Jackson Hole and Teton Village Fire Departments, as both departments were totally involved in the brush-fire. So I went to the Jackson Hole International Airport. The crew from the Fire Department was extremely nice and pulled the trucks out.

 

Crash 1 is this 1988 Oshkosh DA-1500 8x8 with Rosenbauer Viper bodywork. 750 gpm/1500 water/ 265 foam/ 500 # dry chem. Due to be replaced in 2014.

If you're thinking of the rolled-over DA-1500 from Stapleton, I think it went to Gunnison after CRES rebuilt it, if I recall.

The Sea Ranch is a private community, that stretches along for miles along the Pacific north of San Francisco. The Sea Ranch FD operates in conjunction with CALFIRE. Engine 4485 is a 2010 International 4400 with Pierce Contender bodywork, 1250 gpm/ 750 gwt.

The Bandon VFD in Oregon has a very large apparatus fleet. The FD has two of these ex-USAF Oshkosh R-11 fuel-tenders in service. This is a 1991 model, that is equipped with a 250 gpm-pump and a 6000 gallon water-tank.

Tower 52 in Bandon is this 1987 E\-One Hurricane, that is equipped with a 1500 gpm-pump, 300 gallons of water, and a 95' tower. Ex-Lombard/IL

Rescue 1 in Bandon is a 1991 Ford LN 8000 with bodywork from Hesse. Ex-State of Oregon haz-mat unit.
