You are correct.  According to Pierre the Historian on Code Rouge the two were 1942 - 100 ft. trailers with the 1934 tractors being replaced by 1951 GMC's.  So now there are 19 and the revised list is as follows;

Not much staffing on the aerials is there, unless the members rode old school hanging on the trailers running boards

Regarding the two Montreal Seagrave aerials, the following is form Walt McCall

Hi, Ian....

Yes, Montreal had two Bickle-Seagrave 100' steel aerials:

Serial #A8680 was delivered in 1941, a complete J-Model tractor-trailer aerial.

BUT.....
one the other was delivered as an aerial ladder trailer only -- no tractor
. That was #B-2230. I have a Seagrave factory photo of it sitting on the shipping dock in Columbus: no tractor!

Piecing together Walt's and Pierre's info it appears the tractor-less trailer was pulled by the 1934 Seagrave Model 6GF tractor until 1951 when replaced with the GMC tractor.

recently I toured Alberta and BC with fellow firepixers CdnFireTruckBuff, CDNARFF and Terry.   Here are a few images from that trip and the following days back home.  I'll let the others fill in the gaps as they see fit.

Brandon, Manitoba will soon be seeing scheduled air service as it is being included in West Jet's Encore service.  The Brandon Municipal Airport just put this 2012 Oshkosh Striker 1500 into service.  1625/1250/175  500# DC
