As a side note, Warrenton is trying to set the Guinness Book of Records for the largest fire engine parade on September 28. Apparently, the current record is 221 engines. If anyone is interested, let me know as I will be there hopefully.

Thanks for the help on the specs Dave. I've got a bunch to edit and I will need more help since there just wasn't enough time to get specs on 70-75 rigs at the show.

Looking forward to it. As for that trophy, I'm not sure they gave it to the right truck, but it's their choice; I personally saw nicer rigs.  TJ Stirpot

Engine 14 has a slightly older brother to this one.  The foam tank on it is 30 gallons.

BFD1151, while I have no doubt that is the number of engines in a parade recognized by Guiness, years ago New Jersey had some huge parades at the conventions of both the NJ State Firemen's Association and the NJ State Exempt Firemen's Association.     The longest parade I was ever at was at the age of 9 in 1961 when Phillipsburg hosted the 75th anniversary of the NJ State Exempts with the of march rolling past where we were at 1:30 pm and us leaving to go home 8 hours later with us missing the last 2 hours of the parade; that one reportedly had about 400 fire companies involved, each with at least one apparatus.
