West Haven, CT 2nd Alarm 744 Washington Ave 09/07/13

Firefighters were dispatched to the above address just before midnight, they were notified in route of multiple calls being received.  First due Engine 21 arrived to find the number one side of the dwelling with heavy fire showing.  I arrived just as they knocked it down with a 2.5 hand line.

Once the fire was knocked down they went interior.

Two dogs had to be removed from the dwelling by animal control.  They were able to escape via a rear doggie door.  However, they kept trying to re-enter.
