West Yadkin is also getting a used Pierce re-mount tower from somewhere in PA in December-January timeframe. Anyone know which FD would be replacing a rig like this?

You would have to be more specific in details. There are a lot of Pierce Rear Mount towers in Pa.

Unfortunately my driver couldn't give me much more details than that. He thought it was a Pierce Lance but he wasn't sure and he did not know which part of PA it was coming from.

Word on the street is Parma Ohio, outside of Cleveland is where the tower is coming from.

Micah, I do not believe this is the same thing, but a 1987 Pierce Arrow, canopy cab, 1500/200, 110 ft rear-mount tower is headed to the Hubert VFD (Onslow County, NC) from the Willow Street VFC (Lancaster County, PA) at the beginning of the year.

Thanks for the info Bruce. Yes, not the same rig as Onslow County is near the coast and Yadkin County is in the northwest part of the state.

Here is the truck West Yadkin is replacing. They are hoping to sell it to a collector; if there are no takers a local trucking company just wanted the 6V71 out of it and scrap the truck itself.
