And finally, a Lisbon, IA rig was offering rehab.

We had both the grain bin rescue trailer and the manure pit simulator down at our station for county wide training. Very cool props.
Is that a Simon Fire Apparatus demo in the background of the Toyne Aerial? I'm surprised to see they have a demo unit if so, being as small of a company as they are.
Great photos, Trav!
Travis- Mill Twp. Fire Dept. Marion, IN.
They have a couple demos actually. They are listed on their website.
Next up is West Bertram Township. West Bertram, not to be confused with the unincorporated village of Bertram in Linn County east of Cedar Rapids, covers largely rural parts of Linn County on the east edge of Cedar Rapids and Marion.
Pumper 315 is in front of the new West Bertram station, which is almost completed. The department hopes to be in the new station before the end of the year.
The old West Bertram station is east of the Cedar Rapids city limits along Mount Vernon Road.
I don't know if any of you do the facebook thing but there is a page on there called Eastern Iowa FIreground Photos. Pics of trucks, fire calls and coverage of happenings in eastern Iowa and west central Illinois.

Rescue/rehab rig that's due to be replaced soon.
Missing was the Blairstown tanker, which was out on a practice burn.
The bed was donated by the Iowa Conservation Commission, predecessor to the current Department of Natural Resources.
Quote:The bed was donated by the Iowa Conservation Commission, predecessor to the current Department of Natural Resources.I take it that the rig doesn't get much use judging by the tire chains and the green green grass. Great looking rig none the less.

I am interested in all of the equipment and apparatus used in fire fighting and ems service. |
