Three Days in Los Angeles and Vicinity
#1
Recently a group of photo photogs visited the Los Angeles area to photo rigs not previously shot by us.  The trip was highly productive and many pics were obtained throughout this area.  Here are the highlights of this trip.  Although certain apparatus has been posted previously, it's always good to see someone else's perceptive of them.  I'll start at LAX, stations 51 and 80.

We received permission to access Station 51, where we were able to picture all three rigs housed there. The current Engine 51, spare Engine 51 (the Code 3 model), and RA 51.

Manhattan Beach was the next stop. Unfortunately for us, fire prevention was in full swing, so a shoot and grab shot, and off we went.

Redondo Beach Station 64 ran a pair of twin ALF/Eagle pumpers. Here is one of them.

Torrance had a variety of rigs, and several good places to shoot them.
