Images from a trip to the Motor City during Devil's Night activity. Arrived in the city the evening of the October 28th and departed around noon on October 31. Caught a few good jobs and missed a few others.
First up was the first fire of the trip. McCllellan Street betwen Moffat & E. Warren. Fire in a vacant dwelling.
Next up is a job on Glencoe Street near Bentler on 10/29/14. These bungalows are all throughout the NW part of the city. Not a lot of fire on this incident, but liked the image because it shows Detroit in it's true sense. Vacants and burnouts.

10-29-14 - While we were at the W. Warren & Roosevelt job a commercial building came in for W. Jefferson & Cary Streets in Southwest Detroit. Didnt sound like much on the radio when they arrived but Chief 7 advised the building was going throughout and eventually went 2nd alarm.

Another dwelling going throughout in the northwest. Seems like Engine 54, 57, Ladder 26, Squad 1, and Chief 4 were always going to work.

We were'nt very far from this location when the box came in. Arrived right behind Squad 4. The initial reports were that the building was occupied, but I did'nt see anything to support that. Detroit firefighters went in and made a great stop on this one.

Thought for sure they were going to pull them out and set up for a defensive operation. But they stood their ground and made a great stop.
