Quote:It reminds me of the waterways on the older ALF Waterchiefs, mounted to the side of the ladder and not underneath. I cannot recall many modern ones like this one, maybe it was done "custom" so the ladder could cradle lower to meet a height restriction. Just guessing.Yes. Claymont moved into a new station in the past 5 years or so...The old station doors were much lower, 10 ft I think. Claymont was exclusively an E\-One company (one of their past chiefs was a sales rep) until this purchase. I seem to recall that ALF was the only ladder they could get based on their specs to fit in the old station. This truck was also delivered in slime yellow and the ladder and their 1996 E\-One engine were both repainted all red in the past 5 years. Claymont currently has a Pierce engine and pumper rescue on order to replace an older E\-One engine and the KW rescue.

Tac 45 2008 Seagrave 1250/500 Originally built for Washington, DC Photo by Dave Smiley Jr. Quote:Parkside Fire Company of Delaware County, PAGreat photos and really nice looking rigs. Interesting that for the same age rigs why this one has the older style Lance grille but the other rig has the newer... I always thought the older grille was pre 1990 or so.

I always thought the older grille was pre 1990 or so.Pierce introduced the second generation Lance in 1992. At first, it was known as the "Lance II" to differentiate it from the original style Lance, since both remained in production for a short time. Parkside Engine 45 carries Job Number E-6428 and is actually older than Rescue 45 (#E-7108).
Was the Parkside Seagrave labeled as a TAC unit because it only had a 500 gallon tank?
