The Martinsville Volunteer Fire Department is one of six departments in Bridgewater Township and covers approximately fourteen square miles in the northern end of the township. The department has two fire stations and seven pieces of apparatus. Martinsville's response area is Bridgewater Fire District 1.

1999 Pierce Dash is capable of transporting 8 fire fighters. This engine has a 1500 GPM pump and a 1,000-gallon tank.
