Medic 11-1 from Stephens City, VA (Frederick County), former Dulles Airport medic unit.  Been OOS for a while with engine issues.

This Ford is Ambulance 15-2 from Round Hill, VA (Frederick County).  A similar unit was just replaced with a newer International unit.

Training 10 operated by Frederick County (VA) was recently placed in service.

 

   

 

North Mountain, VA (Frederick County) Chief 19 came from a department in New York.

Going to finish this update with several from Prince William County, VA.

 

A513B from Dale City.  One of four ambulances (A502, A506, A510, A513) staffed during the day by the Career staff.  Dale City has a couple new ambulances on order on a Ford chassis, should look good.

 

   

 

Utility 513 also from Dale City.  Dale City operates stations 10, 13, 18, and 20 in Prince William County.

Utility 504 from Gainesville towing a confined space trailer.  Stations 4 and 24 used to be run by the Gainesville District Volunteer Fire Dept., operations were turned over to the County several years ago due to financial issues.  

 

   

 

Station 6 in Coles District is the other station run by the County, operations were officially taken over last year.  The apparatus is in the process of being re-lettered.  Engine and Tanker are staffed 24/7, and the ambulance is staffed during the day.  A506B is one of two similar units.

Nokesville, VA operates stations 5 and 25.  E505 is one of four similar Ferrara's, two at each station.

 

   

 

Ambulance 525B is one of four similar Chevy's, two at each station.

Stonewall Jackson (located in Manassas, VA) operates station 11.  

 

Chief 511 is this Suburban

 

   

 

Utility 511 was recently lettered

The Evergreen VDF (located in Haymarket, VA) operates station 15.

 

This Pierce used to be run as a rescue engine.  The extrication equipment has been removed and it is now E515B.

 

   

 

Brush 515 recently had metal brush guards added that run around the truck.  Definitely adds to the total weight.

An example of the newer style of medic units in the County.  Similar units run by M503, M507, M511, M512, and M514. M504 and M520 have units about to be delivered, and M508 and M524 have units on order.  All units have power-cots, while two of them (M511 and M517) have the power-load system; it's an awesome system.

The Quantico Marine Base is a separate department that operates within Prince William County.  They operate stations 31, 32, and 33. M531 is this Ford E.

 

   

 

Truck 519 is a former Stonewall Jackson ladder truck that is run at the Training Academy.
