In early June Virginia Beach opened a New FS 13 in the rural Blackwater area of the city .It replaced a older and outdated facility built in the 1950s . Their are plans on ordering a Tanker for this station soon to join the Engine and Brush Truck .

Wasn't one of the PUC Demo's they bought at 9 at one time?  Where did it go?

It was......A 2007 model that had numerous issues . Something happened and the truck was sold . Pierce built another Arrow XT PUC to replace it but the County decided to give it to Stafford Company 2 .

Thanks!   Singer brought one of them to Dunn Loring to demo when we were looking at buying our 2009.  I don't know I'd buy another PUC just because there isn't a real big advantage to them in our application but ours hasn't been a bad rig.

Anybody say Why Pierce have a Norfolk spec ladder on is stock list unit on is website? The truck looks little bit used!!!!

Believe it was one that due to whatever reason the City decided not to accept after some use. Not sure of particulars.

Our dept. rejected it because of several issues and Pierce built another truck which will enter service sometime this fall .
