The central Yavapai autocar watertenders are one in the same. They have two, both were ordered as autocar/4 guys and refurbished in the early 2000s by interpipe equipment in phoenix. They gave them a 1978 (?) peterbilt/Howe that is now in service in ehrenberg, az as a trade for refurb on the two autocars. The Ford C has since been given to nutrioso fire in eastern az, after it was repainted by central and kept in service for several years after.

They have (2) former LAFD Crowns.  One shown in terrible shape, is a non-runner that may or may not still be there.

1996, or 2006 perhaps? Looks too new to be a 1986

Great shots, thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the U/D.  Just to many locations to stay current on all of the changes.  I haven't been to Chandler for a few years.

Have they changed to "RED" for all of their new purchased apparatus?
