As reported earlier on this thread, Kalona received new pumper #18 late last year.  This is a 2014 Alexis with a 750 gallon tank.

For many years, Kalona has placed their new trucks in front of the station for photos and have a long line of enlargements on the wall inside.  Engine 18 is the latest to add.

Washington County Sheriff rig Rescue 92 is also housed with Washington Fire.  This is a 2007 Ford F550, body by Pierce.  Purchased from another county in Florida.

Last is the Washington tanker, not numbered.  The tanker is a 1995 International F700, body by Toyne.  The tanker has a 2000 gallon tank.

The Columbus Benefited Fire District protects three towns in Louisa County.  Columbus Junction and Columbus City are next door to each other, and Fredonia is just across the river from them.  CBFD has seven rigs.

 

Columbus 210 is the last rig in the fleet still in red.

Columbus 211 is the first out engine.  211 is a 2008 Toyne on a Spartan chassis, with a 1000 gallon tank.
