I can't believe they weren't fond of the Tower ladder, those Mack aerialscopes were icons and very reliable. They are still sought after today. I believe that scope is serving Lima Fire Department in PA

Reserve apparatus were assigned 700 series numbering. ie, Engine 705 would be the reserve engine at Station 105, Engine 707 would be out of Station 107. Hope that helps.
