Lancaster Township Fire Department, PA (Lancaster County)
Reserve Engine 66-2 was placed in service on January 31st, 2013 due to the front line Engine 66-2 being down for body work couple with unexpected issues with Engines 1 & 3. This engine was a 1997 KME Excel with a 325 HP Motor, 1250 GPM single-stage Hale pump, 1000 gallons of water and 25 gallons of foam. It was in service for the entire month of February, 2013 but didn't catch a single run.
Engine 66-1 came back from the shop within 48 hours of going out. The members were instructed not to run this rig unless absolutely necessary (working fire only).
