Quote:OJ's antique is their second engine for the town, a 1939 Chevy.  I'm not that familiar with who did what, but American Fire Apparatus from Marshalltown, IA and Central from St. Louis both had something to do with the build.  It has a 500 gallon tank and a Waterous pump.
Since the Marshalltown operation of American Fire Apparatus didn't exist before 1956, I would have to say that this is a Central-St. Louis.

Quote:The Columbus Benefited Fire District protects three towns in Louisa County.  Columbus Junction and Columbus City are next door to each other, and Fredonia is just across the river from them.  CBFD has seven rigs.

Columbus 210 is the last rig in the fleet still in red.
