Paint scheme for Santa Barbara- White with blue outlined stripe. Any pictures of those rigs in process?[/quote] Yes, they were for Santa Barbara, complete with the white/blue paint scheme. Unfortunately, for reasons beyond my control, I wasn't able to get photos...

Cool. Last time I was at the Ontario service center, they had the tiller from Goleta there. I tried to lift it, but my chief said no... The LACoFD tiller that was there wasn't an option, as they had the drive axle out for repairs. What I'd do for a tiller... hehehe... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Any word on how the troops like the new Predator Severe Service rigs? We tag onto their orders, so it'd be good to know if they suck (beyond the standard KME issues). Engine 43 Industry CA Engine 43 also responds with the Haz Mat as Haz Mat Task Force 43

Cool thanks! I
I wonder if the HAZ MAT and USAR have spare/reserve tractors anywhere. Looks like 43's tractor is at the dealer getting something worked on.

They have a reserve trailor for the USAR Not sure where it's kept but one night while returning from a call in the most northern section of 82's area, The brakes on the rear duals on the trailor of USAR 103 caught fire as they were getting on the freeway to head back home A Camp Crew was summoned to assist on the crew of USAR 103 with loading up the reserve trailor this occured around midnight

But for some reason, nobody ever mentioned what the third one was for. Now I know the third one's a reserve.

LACoFD Reserve Engine 5191 1988 KME. Was La Habra Engine 1. I heard that the boom is oos due to not passing tests. Currently in service as E191 in La Habra (Orange Co.) until they get a "hand me down" rig from another company.
