My arrival at Harrisburg found the entire department at Station 1 for training, which was both good and bad.  All the rigs were there, but I had to wait for a while before someone could position them for me.  In addition, they were training on the ladder truck.  When they broke for lunch, this is the way they left it.  I'll have to get it another time, but this shot will do for now.

This was a former Winston-Salem FD rig and originally served E2 or E10. Two of these were purchased in 1995, the other is in WSFD reserve status.

This batch will wrap up the last of the rigs from this trip.  On Saturday, I will begin another trip.  Perhaps I will meet one or two of you along the way.

I have recently returned from a few awesome weeks of visiting family and friends in Western NY State.  I also managed to update my apparatus photos from my home county, as well as several other WNY departments.

I made three stops on the trip north.  The first two were set up in advance, after about a dozen phone calls to get everyone's stamp of approval.
