   I went to West Dunkirk to shoot the above rescue truck, but I also got a better shot of their pumper tanker and another engine I was not aware of.  I'll post the pumper tanker here and the engine in the "Once is not enough" thread, as it is one I photographed in its previous home.

   I photographed this 1941 Ford sitting outside of the Maple Springs FD.  Yes, it would look better without the sign.  There was no one around to ask specifics, but it carries a 500 GPM pump.  I was unable to determine the body builder, but it could be a Cayasler.  I returned several days later to shoot two other rigs, but the driver was unable to answer my questions about the '41 Ford.  I'm still trying to make contact with their Chief.

 

UPDATE! - I finally have the answers.  This engine was indeed built by Cayasler and carries 250 gallons of water.
