Tour of New Jersey
Again from the front. I think this is a 1985 Spartan/Emergency One. I'm pretty sure there's pictures of this truck new floating around here.

Jimmy,

That's from my company. It is an 1985 Spartan/E-One  1500/750gwt. It was refurb'd in 2001 with new paint, pump work and minor electrical and LED lighting. It signifies the end of the open cab era in Fair Lawn as it was replaced by a 1997 Simon/Saulsbury from our Co. 1, which recently received a 2013 KME pumper. As far as its fate, that I do not know. When the other 2 companies were spec'ing out the new KME's no one really put thought into it.  When we purchased our 2001 Spartan/Saulsbury we factored in trade-in of an 1982 Hahn into the price. The 1995 KME (which replaced the 1982 Hahn) from E-4 is currently sitting outside at our DPW complex awaiting its fake as well.

Im gonna miss this engine as it was the first piece I ever drove. It still runs great and at pump testing this year despite its age it still performed excellent. Thanks for posting her!
