The district that this unit serves has homes on acreage that sit off of the roads, long driveways leading to the homes, narrow, winding roads and terrain not normally seen inside a city.

This engine runs as a true paramedic engine company much as a traditional engine does.

Thanks for the info.  On the surface, it seemed like an odd switch from the engine pictured that it is replacing.

2017 Sutphen SPH 100 Aerial Platform 1500-300-100' MM (Sutphen # HS-5975) Truck 101 Addison, TX

This truck went into service April 5, 2017, and replaces a 2004 Pierce Dash 2000-500-85' (Pierce Job #15289) The Pierce is being sold at auction.
