It seems with each Engine spec, they keep getting shorter and shorter wheelbases.  I like that.

Is that Pierce new? The date on the bottom says 7/2/13 and I cant find any other photos of it online. Curious to see the hosebed area.

The camera probably has the incorrect date set. The photo is listed in the Summer 2017 album.

 

Also in 2013, LAFD was still buying KME

Fire 5 setting down. The LAFD has recently placed into service another Augusta AW139 which is assigned to Fire 4.

When I was at Pierce 3 weeks ago there were 3 on the line.

The LAFD was recently awarded a $15.46 Million SAFER grant to restore 4 engine companies. Engine's 20, 73, 75 and 1 are slated to be restored.
