VA Beach continues to place newer apparatus in service . Ladder 8 received a 2017 Eone Cylcone II  100 ' Tower with a 1500 GPM Pump and 300 gallon water tank . (4) Eone Pumpers and (2) Eone rearmount Aerials are due this year as well .

Ladder 21 is slated for a Eone and in the mean time they have received ex Ladder 2 / 8 a 2005 Pierce Dash 100 ' Tower . Their 2007 Pierce 105 ' rearmount has been assigned to the reserve fleet .

No idea . This isn't the 1st time they have assigned a older rig to frontline and sent the newer rig to reserve . Sometimes theytake the newer rig OOS to sell , I guess for a better resell value .

Alexandria recently placed (2) Seagrave Tillers into service at Truck 205 and 209 . Alexandria is very close to ordering (2) Seagrave Pumpers, 1 Seagrave Aerialscope and (2) Seagraves to replace the current Rescue and Hazmat . Here is Truck 209 taken in VA Beach at the Virginia Fire Rescue Conference . More updated photos this spring when the weather plays nice . Truck 205 replaces a American LaFrance Midmount while Truck 209 replaces a 2012 Spartan TDA .The ALF Midmount was / is slated for sell, possibly to Zion Crossroads in Louisa County, VA .

Dale City has taken delivery of their 5th Seagrave Pumper to replace Engine 510 a 2015 Seagrave . The 2015 will be assigned as a Reserve at another Dale City station , but as with all of Northern Virginia stations that have a Bravo Engine (2nd Engine) it will be rotated to keep miles down . Currently in the works is another Seagrave which will replace the KME Heavy Rescue . Once again the weather did not play nice so this is a holdover .

I know this is for Virginia Apparatus but I will post this here since they are right across the stateline from Virginia Beach .

In Currituck County , NC is the Carova Beach VFD which is unique in the fact that there are no paved roads leading from Route 12 as you leave Corrola. They will take delivery of new apparatus soon .
