The talk is Engines 2, 3, 7, 8, 9 and 10. 9 and 10 have the most milage and hours on them. This would put Engine 2, 3, 9 and 10 into the reserve pool.

Yes the 6, 2009s Pierce engines are to be sold to Brindlee Mountain for a pre-negotiated price. Also the new medics on the ford chassis' should go back in service this week!

As of the other day, 5 of the 6 were already under contract and the sixth wasn't far behind. We were looking at one as a reserve.

Just below it is the "Browse" button that allows you to select the photo from your computer. After selection, click the "Add Attachment" button to the far right of the "Browse" button. After it uploads, you can add text and then post it.

Yesterday was a banner day for apparatus photography with a ton of fire stations hosting open houses. Nabbed several pieces of apparatus off my to-do list.
We start with Technical Rescue 110 for Arlington County. 2003 Freightliner FL-80 (unconfirmed) with a Hackney trailer, temporarily housed at Station 1 off Glebe Road: Continuing with Hazmat 101, also a Freightliner FL80 (also unconfirmed) paired with a Hackney trailer. Station 1 is its' permanent home: Continuing with MAB100, Arlington County's medical ambulance bus, which is a Thomas Saf-T-Liner EF/Sartin that was bought with grant money that also provided Fairfax, Loudoun, and 4? other counties with MAB units. MCSU 100 is an International Durastar/Hackney that also runs out of Station 2 Ballston. I wanted to shoot the command post too but they had no qualified drivers on site, so it sat inside the garage. Alexandria's reserve truck is a 2012 Spartan Gladiator ERV w/ 100' ladder. Seen here filling in for Truck 208, which is out for the long term currently. And this is a reserve medic unit for Alexandria, also seen filling in for ALS 208:
For anyone who does not know but Jerry Puryear who published the Virginia Fire News Magazine and later Fire and EMS Virginia Magazine passed away on November 15 .
