and on another note, theres nothing wrong with going over 99, there maybe a conflict if they hit the 200's for some rigs already have those numbers, I.E Engine 201, 203, etc. But there wouldnt be a problem with going into the hundreds, at all, they would just have to make sure, they didn't copy Boulder Cities

What does the 300 series represent such as the picture of Rescue 302 ?
Reply
300 series represents the 3rd of that type rig in that same station for example station 1 has 3 rescues, Rescue 1, Rescue 201, and Rescue 301

Thanks,

Do you know if Henderson put in service their 2nd truck Co. yet & what station it's going to be assigned to ?
Reply
no they havent yet, there using it as a spare which is a shame to see a new rig like that go as a spare, i think if they ever put it back in service it would go back to station 96

I guess since North Las Vegas is buying a ton of new Pierce's for replacement apparatus and

adding 3 more New Stations in the next 2 or 3 years

Station 58 (Engine 58, Truck 58, Rescue 58) North Central Area

Station 50 (Engine 50, Truck 50, Rescue 50) South East Area

Station 59 (Engine 59, Rescue 59) North East Area

that it was a good time to change the colors.[/quote]

Also Engine 53 got a twin Engine like E57 new Pierce Quantum

2 more are coming in 2008 for Engine 52 & the Olympus group (developer is buying one for the N. Las Vegas) either will replace E51 2001 Quantum or E56 2004 Quantum

Went by the Clark County shop while in Vegas this week. Saw 4 new Quantums. 2 are marked "CBRNE" and are numbered for E18 and E22. Defintely new rigs. They have the blue/white high visibility chevrons on the back. Can't miss them.
