When I visited Talbot County a few weeks ago, I was told that their County-wide annual pump testing would happen today.  There are seven VFD's in the County.  I was there, camera in hand, bright and early, about an hour early........

Today I stood in the presence of greatness.  I was witness to the beauty and sound of a 42 year old Young Bison (6V-92 Detroit) pass it's annual pump test with ease!  She still purrs like a kitten.  The '96 Pierce from Woodland, that I posted above, was being tested at the same time and you couldn't even hear it running unless you stood right next to it!
