On Saturday, April 28, The Special Operations Unit of the NYPD held a memorial service for their members. A nicely attended event it is organized by several retired members of ESU, aviation, and Harbor. My grandfather was a member of ESU so it was even more special to be there. Several vehicles were on display.



First up is ESU Truck 12. I never thought to ask but I believe 12 is kept at Floyd Bennet Field, home of SOD, as a full equipped spare.
