Car 3 is a 1964 Ford Fairlane that runs from Station 2 as the Battalion Chief
Station 7 is opened in 1964 and houses the Training and Fire Prevention offices. The training tower is attached to the station, and becomes the focal point for training department wide.
Unknown original artist, major modifications by ladder13.
1965 Mack assigned as Engine 2 replacing the 1953 Ford which becomes a spare at Station 2.

In 1966, a new station is built to provide improved coverage to a rural area of the township, with a small population. but large geographic area. Station 8, when opened, is the only all volunteer station in the department.
To provide apparatus for the new station, a new pumper is purchased in 1966, and is an International Loadstar.
Due to the rural nature of station 8's district, a 1966 International Fleetstar tanker is also placed in service
The department places its first utility/brush truck in service at Station 8, and is a 1966 Chev.
1967 brings about Canada's centennial celebrations. To coincide, the status of Wellington is incorporated as a City, due to the rapidly growing population base. For the first time, station numbers are being added to the trucks to identify the station it runs from, the shop number is also maintained on the rigs.
